With Calendar you pick the day and time you use the aircraft and see right away if it is free. You will also find the co-owners' flight shifts here and, in schools, the tool to look for a free slot.
Before you start
- To book you need an aircraft that is yours or shared with you. On an organization's aircraft you need the permission to book: without it the + button does not appear.
- In a school the student can book only if the school has enabled it. Otherwise, in place of + and Find a slot, you read "Ask the school to enable bookings".
- The Calendar tab opens on the calendar; next to it is My bookings, with the list of your bookings. It is the same for everyone: co-owner groups, clubs and schools.
- Sold or archived aircraft cannot be booked and do not appear in the calendar. If you have no aircraft, My bookings invites you to Add aircraft and the calendar only shows your personal deadlines.
- In schools and clubs, if your membership fee is unpaid or expired, you cannot book: contact the office.
Book an aircraft
- Open the Calendar tab and tap + at the top right. From the calendar you can also tap Book next to a day.
- If you have more than one aircraft, tap Aircraft and choose in Which aircraft?. With a single aircraft it is already chosen.
- Check Date, From and To. By default the time starts at 9:00 for two hours; if you change the start time, the length stays the same as before.
- Under PURPOSE choose Private, Training, Maintenance, Check or Other.
- If you like, write a Title (optional) and Notes (optional).
- Tap Book aircraft.

A booking can last 14 days at most, and the end must be after the start.
If the aircraft is already booked at the same time you see You can't book at that time, with who booked it. Change the time and try again.
After saving, a warning can appear, for example that the aircraft is grounded, in maintenance or has overdue maintenance, or that it is on shift for another co-owner. The booking is saved anyway: check before the flight.
See your bookings
In the Calendar tab tap My bookings: you see UPCOMING and PAST. Tap a row to open the details: status, purpose, the PEOPLE involved and NOTES.

The calendar
- Tap Calendar above the list.
- At the top the Personal, Aircraft and School switches choose what to show (School only if you have a classroom); the ones that are on have a tick. You can turn on more than one, but at least one stays on. Personal shows licences, medical, personal documents and fees; Aircraft bookings, shifts, maintenance and aircraft documents; School the classroom lessons.
- With Aircraft on, choose the aircraft from the labels. If you have more than one it starts from All fleet, which shows the bookings of all aircraft together, with the registration on every row; tap an aircraft's registration to see only that one.
- Next to the month, the two buttons on the right choose Week (one block per day) or Month (the grid). The arrows move the period; tapping the title takes you back to today.
- Tap a day to see what is on it: bookings, lessons and expiries. If there are none you see Free.

In the month view the dots under the number show the bookings: Mine, Others and Maintenance. The bars show the shifts: My shift and Others' shift. Shifts are shown when you choose a single aircraft. An Expiry mark shows a day when something expires (a licence, a document, a maintenance item): expiries are shown even when they are years away, just move month with the arrows.
Flight shifts
When the co-owners have a shift plan, the calendar shows rows such as Your shift or Shift: followed by the name. A Shift released row (Open to everybody) means anyone can book that day.
The plan has a policy: Exclusive (on shift days only the holder or a booking manager can book), Priority (the holder has priority until a set number of hours before) or Informational (anyone can book, the holder is shown as a warning). If the policy does not let you book, Flight shift appears with the explanation.
To see or change shifts:
- Open My shifts (from the Menu, ACTIVITY section) for your next 90 days, or open the aircraft and tap Shifts in the GROUP section of the Overview for the next 8 weeks.
- Tap a shift. If it is yours (or you manage bookings) and it has not passed, choose Hand over to a co-owner, Release (anyone can book) or, for a shift that was already changed, Restore the original shift.
Days without a shift appear as Free. If bookings are allowed you can tap Book this day to open the booking form right away.
Allow bookings
In the shift plan, under Bookings, the Allow bookings switch decides what happens on days without a shift:
- On: days without a shift can always be booked; on shift days the chosen policy applies (Exclusive, Priority or Informational).
- Off: everyone flies only on their own shifts. Free days and other members' shifts cannot be booked (Free · not bookable). Inside their own shift the holder can still note the time they fly. Whoever manages bookings can always book.
The shift plan can be created or edited only with the permission to manage bookings (Shift plan). See Co-ownership.
Find a slot (schools and clubs)
If you belong to a school, Find a slot lists free aircraft and instructors, day by day. In the school view you find it at the top of the Calendar, next to + (new booking); from the pilot view, in the Calendar tab, with the magnifier next to + at the top right.
In the school view the Calendar shows the flights and bookings of the whole fleet, one day at a time: tap a row to open its detail, edit or cancel it. Bookings of other organizations or hidden by the calendar privacy cannot be opened. An empty day offers New booking. The school's time windows and the instructors' availability are in Menu, section HOURS AND AVAILABILITY.
- Choose the Date.
- Under WHAT DO YOU NEED? choose With instructor (and, if you like, an Instructor) or Rental.
- Choose the DURATION: 60, 90 or 120 min.
- Under AVAILABLE SLOTS tap a slot: the form opens already filled in, with aircraft, time and instructor. Tap Book aircraft.

Tentative bookings
If someone books for you (for example the office), the booking is Tentative until all the people involved confirm it. Open it: at the top you see who booked it and two buttons.
- Tap Confirm if the time works for you.
- Or tap Decline, write a reason if you like and confirm. Whoever created it is told and decides what to do.
Under ANSWERS you see who has already replied. When everybody has confirmed, the booking becomes Confirmed.

Edit or cancel
- Open the booking from the calendar or from My bookings.
- Tap Edit booking to change the time or details, then Save changes.
- To cancel it tap Cancel booking, write a Reason (optional) and confirm. With Keep nothing changes. The aircraft is free again right away for the others.

You can edit or cancel your own bookings; other people's only if you manage bookings.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see the + button?
You do not have the permission to book any aircraft. Ask whoever manages the organization.
I cannot book a day without a shift.
In that aircraft's shift plan Allow bookings is off: everyone flies only on their own shifts. Ask whoever manages bookings to turn it on, or to book for you.
What happens if I book on someone else's shift?
It depends on the plan policy. With Informational the booking is saved with a warning; with Exclusive or Priority you may be blocked.
